Yes, that’s right. The London 2012 Olympic Committee announced the mascots, and here they are!

Their names are Wenlock and Mandeville – Wenlock is the blob on the left, and he’s the mascot for the London 2012 Olympics. Mandeville is the blob on the right, and he’s the mascot for the London Paralympic games in 2012.

They aren’t bad, right? It’s not like recent Olympic mascots have knocked our collective socks off, anyway. I certainly don’t dislike them!
