The news came today that Iran announced an objection to the logo for the 2012 London Olympics, contending it is racist because it resembles the word “Zion” and warned of a possible boycott of the Games. It seems unlikely that Iran would actually boycott over this matter, and hopefully they don’t. It’d nice if we could put all our religious and political garbage aside and just enjoy the games.
