The good folks at Jaunted.com posted an excellent list of Eight Things To Know About Attending The Next Olympic Games, and I must say that it’s an excellent list. Here are a few of the eight that I like:

1. Go early – The earlier you go, the shorter lines are. And the opening ceremony is always quite the spectacle!
2. Stay Longer – Make sure you plan days without any events, so you have plenty of time for the displays and venues, and just to soak in the Olympic atmosphere!
3. Start buying your tickets early – This is a huge one. Tickets sell out quickly. If you really want to see swimming, for example, sign up for all the newsletters you and email notifiers that you can, and jump in and buy those tickets!
